Grimwood & Dix are Pleased to announce the Apprentice of the Year nominations for 2009. Daniel Newton and Paul Nixon have both been elected for the prestigious annual awards which are sponsored by the ECA and Edmundson Electrical.
Both apprentices have displayed an acute level of understanding and competence in their work. This high standard of training may result in them becoming a finalist or even a winner in the competition where the prize is £1000; a title which Grimwood & Dix Director Martin McGuinness holds from winning the award in his apprentice years.
After Choosing the nominations for 2009's Apprentice of the year, Grimwood and Dix are delighted to announce that Daniel Newton has been chosen to represent the North West in the National finals of the ECA/Edmundson's Award. The distinguished event is to take place in London on 13th May 2009, in which apprentice Paul Nixon was also a worthy runner up.
Grimwood and Dix are proud to pass on their congratulations to Daniel Newton who was recently named regional apprentice of the year. In an article in the Tameside Reporter on the 18th June, Daniel praised Grimwood and dix for their training and thanked them for giving him the opportunity to become an electrician. Daniel also expressed his delight at reaching the finals of the prestigious annual event.
